雕版印刷技艺是运用刀具在木板上雕刻文字或图案，再用墨、纸、绢等材料刷印、装订成书籍的一种特殊技艺，迄今已有1300多年的历史，比活字印刷技艺早400多年。它开创了人类复印技术的先河，承载着难以计量的历史文化信息，在世界文化传播史上起着无与伦比的重要作用。

Block Printing

Engraving printing is a special technique that uses cutting tools to engrave words or patterns on wooden boards, and then uses ink, paper, silk and other materials to print and bind books. So far, it has a history of more than 1300 years, more than 400 years earlier than movable type printing. It pioneered the technology of human photocopying, carrying immeasurable historical and cultural information, and playing an unparalleled important role in the history of world cultural communication.
