The declaration is an ancient polyphonic music, dance and ritual event performed by a group of Bobby-older women in the Shopruk region of Bulgaria. 　　It includes Diaphony, or Shoppe and ancient circle dancing, as well as ritual events for young women, and a rite of passage (Lazarovan). The dissonance is the type of singing polyphonic, the melody is composed of two parts, one part is called izvikva, meaning shouting, the other part is called Buchi Krivo, meaning the undulating low roar. Other singers keep a single, continuous murmur, their melody with the lead singer, forming a pair of two or a pair of three pairs. Dancers dressed in traditional costumes usually circle each other with their partners ' waists or belts and tap the slow dance counterclockwise. There are several variations in the dance structure due to the different purposes of the song and ritual. The biggest feature of this form of performance is the dislocation of music and dance in rhythm. Although this social function of polyphonic singing has changed in the 20th century-and is now performed mainly on the stage-Sababi is still seen as an important factor in regional cultural life and as a way to promote the transmission of traditional culture by the younger generation. The declaration emphasizes that Sababi belongs to a small number of existing representative traditional polyphonic music, while Liquica is one of the last regions in Bulgaria to preserve and pass on this cultural expression for hundreds of years.
