侗族大歌是无伴奏、无指挥的侗族民间多声部民歌的总称。包括声音歌、叙事歌、童声歌、踩堂歌、拦路歌。“众低独高”是其传统的声部组合原则，优美和谐是其鲜明的艺术品格，歌师教歌、歌班唱歌是其全民性的传承方式。它所承载和传递的是一个民族的生活方式、社会结构、人伦礼俗、智慧精髓等至关重要的文化信息。

Dong Nationality Song in Guizhou

Dong folk song is the general name of multi-voice folk songs of Dong nationality without accompaniment and command. Including voice song, narrative song, children's song, trampling song, block song. "Lower voices, higher voices" is its traditional principle of voice combination. Beautiful harmony is its distinct artistic character.
