Wrestling boxing is a traditional Korean martial art. It is light in action. It subdues the opponent and protects its body by the elasticity produced by the instantaneous rapid movement of hands and feet.

The murals of Koguryo's ancient tombs depict the practice of wrestling boxing. It can be seen that there have been wrestling boxing since the time of the Three Kingdoms. The Koryo era has developed into a popular martial art among the warriors. In the Korean era, it became a popular martial art, which was widely practiced by ordinary people besides those who practiced martial arts.Wrestling boxing is divided into two parts

(1) Practice alone: basic posture, standing exercises (walking the word "pin", swinging arms, kicking and hand movements), walking exercises (swinging arms, hand movements, kicking)

Push against

(3) Competition.

The Characteristics of Wrestling Boxing

Firstly, the movements of hands, feet and body are consistent with the activities of muscles. They are light and agile, and they can fight naturally.

Secondly, Qiquan has a rhythm of music and dance, and is artistic.

Thirdly, compared with offense, we pay more attention to defense and keep moving our feet.

Wrestling has always been like Korea's Dahaoshan River, stretching movements, like dancing, but momentarily start the body, flexible to achieve offensive and defensive. It is like the wind that shakes the bell under the eaves and runs away, calming down and easily subduing each other. In addition, it does not focus on any kind of attack and defense, nor does it stay in a single position. This martial art is not to defeat the opponent's martial arts, but to save people's martial arts. It is different from fighting in emphasizing the cultivation of spirit.

In 1983, Korea designated it as "Important intangible cultural heritage" No. 76 for protection. Zheng Jinghe is the holder of wrestling skills. Park Wanye and Park Hyosoon are carrying out inheritance activities as teaching assistants. In addition, the Korean Wrestling Boxing Association, which teaches Wrestling Boxing, is actively carrying out the preservation and popularization of the prototype of Wrestling Boxing.
